Picture from Sonic costume pack coming to LittleBigPlanet

As your little sackboy speeds down the frighteningly steep levels of LittleBigPlanet, it’s hard not to conjure up thoughts of Sonic the Hedgehog from back in his 2D days. Well, now it’ll be even easier, as Sony and Sega are teaming up to provide the Sonic the Hedgehog costume pack.

While details are still forthcoming on the pack, including its price and availability (expect mid-December), its being reported that there will be a variety of costumes to choose from. The characters chosen to be sack’d include Sonic, Sonic the Werehog, Tails, Dr. Eggman and Knuckles.

Now, if only we could swap out the blue orbs for some shiny gold rings.

It was available back in November, but the links provided me by the folks over at PlayStation are no longer active, so I’m guessing the product has been discontinued.
