Namco Bandai has broken its silence about the future of Soul Calibur. The fifth game in the series will be coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. The company has promised new characters and a generational shift. Project Soul team producer Hisaharu Tago took to the stage at the publisher’s annual Level Up showcase event to reveal a “true sequel” for the fighting game series, set 17 years after the events of Soul Calibur IV. Namco has yet to send out a full character roster, but Siegfried and Nightmare already appear in this trailer.
