Early yesterday, SK-Gaming reported that a closed beta for Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty had begun. This announcement was due to a tip they’d received from a formerly reliable source that included what was purported to have been an email from Blizzard.
“We’re excited to have reached the beta-testing stage for the second Starcraft game, and we’d be grateful to have your assistance in finalizing the content. There are a lot of new things to test, the single-player campaign and a brand new multiplayer experience, and we look forward to receiving any feedback you can offer. Read on to learn how to participate and thank you in advance for your support in helping us put the finishing touches on the game.”
Once the news went live, however, the real Blizzard was quick to respond. “This is not correct. We have not sent out beta invitations yet and there is no download available. If you do get an email claiming you made it into the beta now, be very careful and check back with your contact at Blizzard to avoid installing trojans.“

I want this game really bad!!!
Yea, the last time I played it in 2007 it looked pretty good. I wonder what they’ve done to it in 2+ years since.
No way, you played SC2? O.o
Yup, sure did! =)
Envy… Lucky!
