Picture from Tecmo Bowl Throwback comes to digital download

Tecmo Koei America has announced a remake of Tecmo Super Bowl. The new incarnation, developed by Southend Interactive, will be released as Tecmo Bowl Throwback and will include all of the classic gameplay in addition to fresh new features. The game will be released on the Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network this spring.

Tecmo Bowl fans no longer have to reminisce about the good old days as players can return to the first video game that emulated real football with new generation consoles, twenty years after its initial release. As a game that still holds a strong community following, online community tournaments can now be held nationwide in the comfort of people’s homes.
