Team Ninja head Tomonobu Itagaki and Tecmo have been slugging it out in court since they officially broke up in 2008, but they’ve finally come to an agreement. When Itagaki initially left the company, he claimed that the publisher owed him $1.4 million in unpaid bonuses for the development of Dead or Alive 4 and promptly filed in court to force Tecmo to pay up.
Two years later, Tecmo and Itagaki have finally reached a settlement agreement. According to 1Up, the dispute actually involved compensation for dismissal, although Itagaki had initially claimed in 2008 that he had resigned from the company. Details of the settlement have not been disclosed.
