Recently, Hasbro and Jagex announced they had joined forces to develop and publish the Transformers MMO, Transformers Universe. In it, players will be able to create and play as their own Autobot or Decepticon, designing and customizing the character to fit their gameplay style, combat preferences and appearance.

The game will officially go live sometime in 2012, and while beta testing has not yet begun, those interested in getting their name on the list can register now. And while you’re waiting, check out these first screens.
