Picture from Trion to unveil Heroes of Telara at E3

Trion World Network will unveil its first videogame, Heroes of Telara, at E3 2009. Heroes of Telara is a fantasy Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game where everyday gamers are forged into legendary heroes. Players are challenged to conquer the unknown in an ever-changing world driven by recurring events, unexpected challenges and continually changing new content.

Heroes of Telara is made by :

Jon Van Caneghem who is a computer game designer and producer. He is most recognized for creating the Might and Magic role-playing game series and its strategy spin-off Heroes of Might and Magic.

Van Caneghem founded New World Computing in 1983. The company was acquired by The 3DO Company in 1996. When 3DO went bankrupt in 2003, New World Computing also disappeared. In 2004, Van Caneghem joined NCSoft. Shortly after, he was inducted into Computer Gaming World’s Hall of Fame. In 2005 he left NCSoft.

On September 25, 2006 it was announced that Van Caneghem, together with Lars Buttler, former vice president of Global Online at Electronic Arts, formed a new company named Trion World Network, headquartered in Redwood City, California, that would “leverage all the inherent capabilities of broadband, provide original entertainment, and define the future of media in the global broadband era.
