THQ has secured the licence to yet another movie title from US hit machine Disney-Pixar, in the shape of science fiction comedy WALL-E. The video game adaptation of WALL-E will be released in conjunction with the movie this summer on the PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, PSP, Wii, DS, PC, Mac and wireless devices. The film tells the story of the last robot on Earth and is set in the future. It was been directed by Andrew Stanton, the man behind Finding Nemo. Development for the WALL-E games is being led by THQ’s internal Heavy Iron Studios. The long-running relationship between THQ and Disney-Pixar has produced shipments of more than 35 million game units worldwide.
