Picture from Wal Mart and Best Buy drop used games

Best Buy and Wal-Mart are to halt tests of automated kiosks that bought used games after their supplier e-Play closed up shop. e-Play kiosks allowed shoppers to trade in Wii, Xbox or PlayStation games for credit on a gift card or credit card. The kiosks also rented video games and movies.

Why the sudden shut down? According to e-Play’s website, “e-Play, LLC has suspended operations. Thank you to all our customers. For more information call 1-866-602-6014.” The number, however, only routes you to an automated message explaining how to return games and invites you to leave a message.

Could it be that Turks sent them into bankruptcy by endlessly trading in every game he owns during his lunch hours?

My store never had one of these. Although if it did I’m sure I would have used it and they would have gone under a lot quicker.
