Picture from Warhammer 40K MMO to be “fully unveiled” at E3

THQ has promised to “fully unveil” their Warhammer 40K MMO at this summer’s E3. The title has been on the boards for quite some time, but so far we know very little it. Vigil Games will develop under the creative lead of Joe Madureira, and Madureira has said that combat will take place on a larger scale than Mythic’s Warhammer Online. He’s also been quoted as saying that there will be “tons” of customization and the “coolest looking characters of any MMO, ever.”

E3 takes place June 15-17, and we’re sending Patrick, Turks, and Mike Smith to bring back some real insight into what the game has in store.

So another PvP MMO? Sad. I really like W40K setting, and would enjoy playing a PVE-oriented MMO.

Also, I think you forgot to include this guy Alaric in the list of people whom you plan to send to E3.

I’m excited about this. Warhammer was pretty good as an MMO, and I like this setting even better for one.

I love W40k setting but i dont like pvp MMO’s, its odd also when you look at it that most pvp oriented MMO’s are pretty small compared to MMO’s that are PVE oriented.

Take Warhammer Online vs WoW (yes i know wow is pvp too, but mostly pve)

In the case of Warhammer Online vs WoW, it’s not really that odd.

WoW has been around a lot longer, and has had expansions released for it.

Warhammer Online hasn’t been around that long, and no expansions have been released yet.

Also, in a way, I believe that the PvP in itself is an entire dimension when it comes to MMO’s. So in my opinion, PvP games with carefully worked out PvP systems are very grand indeed.
