Picture from White Knight Chronicles has a release date

Sony isn’t giving gamers much down time after the holiday season. In what is typically the dead spell of the gaming season, Sony will be releasing the long anticipated White Knight Chronicles on February 2. The game is now titled White Knight Chronicles (International Edition), and will feature several additions that were not included in the original Japanese release. The IE will come with over 50 disc-based online quests that can be completed either solo or cooperatively with up to three other players to gain extra gear and experience. There will also be the capability for voice chat and Live Talk. Leonard and his companions will have side conversations during gameplay, adding a little more character to your travels through the world of White Knight Chronicles. If that’s not enough, you’ll be able to build an online village for your character where you can invite friends to complete quests online and purchase unique items and gear through the Georama.

About darn time! I have been waiting for this game for what seems forever.

I had some hands on with it at E3 this year. I remember it being a little glitchy but at that time I’m sure it was an early build. The rep kept telling me about the abundance of quests and exploration that this game will have. I think I would be interested in it especially the co-op but February 2nd is a rough time. Mass Effect 2 is January 26th and Bioshock 2 February 9th. I think I’ll be caught up in other things to jump into it at launch.

Yeah, it doesn’t seem like the killer game everyone once thought it would be. But I’m still pretty stoked for it. We’ll see how it turns out. A lot of their additions for this release seem to address the issues that Famitsu had in the original Japanese review.

I’ll give it a chance.
