Picture from Writers Guild award nominations announced

The Writers Guild of America has announced the nominees for best writing in a videogame in 2010, and the list is notable both for the games included and those left off. The writing teams for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Fallout: New Vegas, God of War III, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Singularity and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II are nominated for the annual award, which will be presented on February 5 at simultaneous ceremonies in New York City and Los Angeles. The most glaring in its shunning by the Writers Guild is Red Dead Redemption, which tops many game-of-the-year lists for 2010.
